Wendy Wake-Dyster, Chief Executive Officer
Wendy Wake-Dyster joined Leveda as Chief Executive Officer in September 2010. Wendy brings 30 years’ experience working in disability, health and community services, with a clinical background as a physiotherapist and management experience in hospitals and community services.
Prior to joining Leveda, Wendy held the position of Director Client Services at Novita Children’s Services for 10 years, with responsibility for research, therapy, equipment and family support services, during this time also working as Acting Director Marketing and Acting Chief Executive.
With postgraduate qualifications in Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia, and Management from the University of Southern Queensland, Wendy is an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, and a member of the Leadership Institute of South Australia, having been a participant on the Governor’s Leadership Foundation program in 2003.
Wendy has held community Board positions and been a member of Ministerial Advisory Committees in education and disability. Currently she is a member of the National Disability Services State Committee.
