Leveda is committed to providing quality support services to our clients and to continue to do so we require appropriately skilled and motivated staff. Opportunities are available for people seeking work as Community Support Workers in our Accommodation, Community Support and Respite Services.

Underpinning our quality services is Leveda’s commitment to ensuring our staff have the necessary attributes and skills to support our clients to live an active and engaging life.

We recognise that not all individuals seeking employment with us will have all the necessary pre-requisites to employment, or existing skills so Leveda is committed to supporting potential employees to achieve these.

Pre-Requisites to Employment
Individuals applying for work at Leveda as a Community Support Worker must meet a number of minimum pre-requisite requirements. To be considered for employment applicants must have;

• Current Drivers Licence
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current Manual Handling Certificate (obtained in the last 12 months)

In addition applicants must also have;
• A current medical check (obtained in the last six months)
• A current Police Check (obtained in the last three months)

Leveda may be able to assist potential employees in gaining the pre-requisites for employment.

Training
Leveda provides both nationally accredited and other ongoing training to all service staff and this is provided in both the classroom and on the job environments. Once completed staff have a nationally recognised Certificate III in Community Services (Disability). Staff may also wish to go on and complete their Certificate IV.
